1. OVERVIEW

The Difficult Women tee is part of an initiative by We Are Difficult Women that combines product sales with charitable giving.

For each tee sold, 50% of profits are donated to organisations that support, protect and empower women.

2. DEFINITION OF PROFITS

“Profits” are defined as the net profit from each sale, calculated as:

Sale price
less production and operational costs (including manufacturing, packaging and administrative expenses)
less transaction fees (including payment processing and platform fees)

Shipping costs are excluded from profit calculations.

3. DONATION STRUCTURE

  • 50% of net profits from each tee sold will be donated

  • Donations are made on a monthly basis

  • Donations may be directed to one organisation or distributed across multiple organisations supporting women

4. CHARITY SELECTION

Organisations are selected at the discretion of We Are Difficult Women.

These may include charities or initiatives focused on:

  • women’s safety

  • family violence support

  • education and opportunity

  • health and wellbeing

  • advocacy and legal protection

Where possible, selected organisations will be shared with the community.

5. TRANSPARENCY

We Are Difficult Women is committed to transparency.

  • Donation updates may be shared via our website, email or social channels

  • Updates may include total funds donated and recipient organisations

6. NON-CHARITABLE PURCHASE

We Are Difficult Women is not a registered charity.

Purchases of the Difficult Women tee:

  • are not tax-deductible

  • are product purchases that include a charitable contribution component

7. RETURNS & REFUNDS

  • Standard store return policies apply to the product

  • Donations already allocated from completed sales are not refundable

8. CHANGES TO THE INITIATIVE

We Are Difficult Women reserves the right to:

  • update or change partner organisations

  • adjust donation timing (while maintaining the 50% profit commitment)

  • evolve the initiative as it grows
